BIC® Soleil® Savvy™ Razor [refillable + disposable+affordable]

Yes, another BzzAgent product review!

I've been using my BIC Soleil Savvy razor ( BzzAgent sent it to me to try out for free!) for a month now and overall, I dub it better than the average razor.

It's a pretty standard 3 blade razor.  If you've tried the regular BIC Soleil then you'll know what to expect.... although, I think I'd say this one is better than the regular disposable ones.  I think the blade cartridge is more flexy bendy over knee areas and such and that's a good thing.

The cool part about this one is that the blade cartridges are replaceable.  Each package comes with one refillable handle and 4 cartridges.  You can't buy the cartridges on their own, but that's ok by me because the handle isn't exactly built to last forever.  I think it's really cool how the little cartridge holder is designed that you can pop off the part that holds the actual razor cartridge... like, here's what you can do- pop off a cartridge in it's protective casing from the rest of the cartridges, then attach it to the handle, slide off the protector, and shave... or I guess you can attach the cartridge to the handle, then pop off the razor from the rest of them.  Hopefully the picture helps to explain it better.
I really like that.  For some reason it's annoying for me to have half empty cartridge refill holders hanging around in my bathroom, so it's cool that I can just break off the empty compartments from the full ones.  I think that's part of why I switched from refillable razors to disposables.  O.o

The razor itself works just fine.  Better than most, worse than some, but that's expected for a 3 blade.  It's comparable to others in its price range (around $8 for the handle + 4 cartridges).

For the record, I don't use shaving cream/gel/whatever.  I use $1 Suave conditioner.  It's great.
